Bio Sand Filter

Here at NJIT the Engineers without borders chapter has poured a Bio Sand Filter and will soon be testing to make sure everything works and the flow rate is correct. We are very pleased with the performance of the Group and hope to make a trip to Haiti in August.

General meeting on April 23

The NJIT Engineers Without Borders (NJIT-EWB) chapter invites you to attend a general meeting to learn about our design for a water treatment project in Haiti, and how to get involved with the implementation of our Water Development Project for the town of Milot, Haiti. The meeting will be held in Colton Hall room 416, on April 23, 2008 beginning at 3:30pm. In addition we will have our elections to select officers for the executive board for AY 2008-2009. If you are interested please contact Mr. Bryce H. Anzelmo (bha3@njit.edu) or Dr. Meegoda (meeegoda@njit.edu).

The NJIT Engineers Without Borders Chapter provides students with a unique opportunity to partake in a real life project that will impact and improve the living standards of many people in Haiti. NJIT-EWB encourages students from all majors and disciplines to participate in our committees for our projects utilize skills learned within Engineering, Design, Management, and Social Studies. Therefore, April 23rd is an optimal time to get involved in our project.
